Rapco's organic linings are made from a mix of brass, copper and Kevlar fibers. Most organic linings have a built in wear indicator, which reduces the risk of damage to the brake disc and extends lining life. Metallic linings for Cleveland brake assemblies are made of sintered steel, a proprietary process that fuses metallic particles to a steel carrier plate.
