This is an adhesive backed, closed cell foam tape which is available in various sizes by the roll. This tape can be wrapped around the edges of the windows to both cushion and seal. DO NOT STRETCH DURING APPLICATION, IT WILL PULL BACK AND LEAVE GAPS. Piper used this extensively in their window installations.

For ease of installation, they are trimmed to OEM specifications. Quality control systems are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, meeting the Federal Aviation Regulations, and the Department of Defense, meeting MIL-I-45208A. All FAA-PMA approved parts are shipped with the FAA-PMA approval tag, which has the complete approved applicability list attached. An “Airworthiness Approval Tag”, FAA form 8130-3, which is “NOT FOR EXPORT” is also attached.

For your convenience, packaging is designed to accommodate UPS, Fedex, and DHL for most Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft windshields.
