Dupont Sontara Aircraft Window Wipes (SP-AC1213WWCS) are the first synthetic, disposable wipe soft enough for use on acrylic aircraft windows. These wipes may also be rinsed and reused. Dupont developed this product specifically for use on acrylic aircraft windows. LP product testing has confirmed this product is soft enough to use on aircraft acrylic windows. These window wipes are made of a proprietary blend of fibers that are softer than most conventional wipes. Since many scratches are caused by grit and dirt already on the surface of the window, this product features apertures that help pick up and remove dirt effectively. Using LP Aero Plastics Acrylic Polish and Sealant to “float up” the dirt before wiping is the best way to minimize the risk of scratching.

For ease of installation, they are trimmed to OEM specifications. Quality control systems are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, meeting the Federal Aviation Regulations, and the Department of Defense, meeting MIL-I-45208A. All FAA-PMA approved parts are shipped with the FAA-PMA approval tag, which has the complete approved applicability list attached. An “Airworthiness Approval Tag”, FAA form 8130-3, which is “NOT FOR EXPORT” is also attached.

For your convenience, packaging is designed to accommodate UPS, Fedex, and DHL for most Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft windshields.
