LP Aero Plastics Acrylic Polish and Sealant and Dupont Sontara Aircraft Window Wipes are the finest products ever developed for this purpose.

This Window Care Kit contains:

• One 16 oz. bottle of LP Aero Plastics Polish and Sealant: This product is a no wax, non yellowing, polythylene polymer formula. Very easy to apply and extremely easy to wipe off after allowing to dry to a quick haze. It also wipes off very cleanly with no dust, oily film, or residue left behind. LP Aero Acrylic Polish and Sealant fills fine scratches (contains no abrasives, waxes or silicones) and leaves a super slick surface that will prevent dirt and bugs from sticking solidly and provides a high surface tension so water will bead and roll off. It is recommended for use as a cleaner, polish and sealant for aircraft windshields and windows. It can also be used on the aircraft painted finish and vehicle painted surfaces, fiberglass, plastic, clear coat, stripes, decals and to remove stains. It also works well on the the wing leading edges allowing insects to be easily removed with just plain water.
• One box of 25 Sontara Window Wipes: The first synthetic, disposable wipe soft enough for use on acrylic aircraft windows. These wipes may also be rinsed and reused. Dupont developed this product specifically for use on acrylic aircraft windows. LP product testing has confirmed this product is soft enough to use on aircraft acrylic windows. These window wipes are made of a proprietary blend of fibers that are softer than most conventional wipes. Since many scratches are caused by grit and dirt already on the surface of the window, this product features apertures that help pick up and remove dirt effectively. Using LP Aero Plastics Acrylic Polish and Sealant to “float up” the dirt before wiping is the best way to minimize the risk of scratching.
